BARBES RESTAURANT:

Barbes restaurant, a nexus of Parisian and African culture, is an expansion of an already-running restaurant in Paris and New York. It came to Hoboken in 2018 intending to develop a fondness for their cuisine.

The restaurant is vibrant, bringing the quintessence of that classic neighborhood with similar music, food, and décor.

Its diverse menu includes delectable crepes, shawarmas, steaks, and much more, along with that the service is immaculate and the staff is courteous.

Due to covid, they have set up outdoor seating, strictly adhering to the SOPs and maintaining social distancing, and keeping limited capacity.

5. ANI RAMEN – MAPLEWOOD:

AniRamen, an ode to Japanese comfort food, has a very friendly and comfortable feel, and with its well-administered, it serves a variety of food such as ramen noodles, baos, and tofu buns.

The Ani Team had put a halt to their usual hitmakers while when they established a nonprofit model for a couple of months during the pandemic. They wanted to cater to the frontline workers and  provided them with chickens and pizzas to make larger quantities, but not without losing their signature taste.

Now they’re back to their ramen specialty and serve ramen in six different flavors, all of which are popular, with soy-glazed chicken and panko shrimp being popular.

The Baos contain Pork Belly and Fried Tofu as options as well as a few large bite choices for an unbeatable price including Chicken Karagee and Crispy Miso Sake Wings!

De Novo is located both in Montclair and Edgewater, but the view and contemporary design incorporated in the Edgewater location is truly stunning. The last restaurant we HAD to mention is Jack’s Lobster Shack. It is found in numerous locations in New Jersey. It is the hub of delicious lobsters.

The menu offers Connecticut-style Lobsters, Maine-style lobsters, and Jack’s Famous Sandwiches which has multiple offerings such as crab cake sandwich platter and shack fish sandwich platter.

They have the classics such as fish and chips, lobster mac & cheese, and also grilled salmon.
